Exit Gateway Environment

In the short film Exit, I was responsible for parts of the Artistic Direction and all of the environment. This particular structure is a gateway between two large buildings. In the film, it is struck during a war and collapses onto the characters.

I created the model entirely procedurally to ensure it remained watertight, which was necessary for the simulation. I had to work really close with Justin Desrochers (the fx artist) to keep everything under a USD pipeline. All texturing was done in Houdini, within the context Copernicus.
